DESCRIPTION
We have partnered with Global Partnerships to bring you Opportunity Blend, a dark, rich and aromatic blend of Peruvian, Bolivian and Guatemalan beans. Global Partnerships is dedicated to expanding opportunity for people living in poverty through the support of microfinance - the provision of financial services to the poor. Global Partnerships will receive 15% of the sales price from every bag of Opportunity Blend coffee sold to help borrowers start businesses, feed their families, send their children to school and access basic health care.
Global Partnerships requests names and mailing addresses for persons that order the Opportunity Blend. Grounds for Change will provide Global Partnerships with this information on a quarterly basis along with our donation. We only provide this information for those persons who order the Opportunity Blend and not for any of our other customers. This agreement is indefinite in length and guarantees no minimum contribution.
This coffee is Fair Trade Certified by TransFairUSA, Organic Certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and grown in shaded conditions by small farmer cooperatives.
All of our coffee is roasted to order and shipped fresh daily. We package in air-tight, foil-lined bags with one-way degassing valves to preserve freshness.
