DESCRIPTION
This impeccable limited-release coffee comes from the high jungle of southeastern Peru, north of Lake Titicaca along the border with Bolivia. The small coffee farms are located close to the Tambopata National Reserve which has some of the greatest biodiversity on the planet.
Well-balanced with a round body and soft acidity, Peru "Massiapo" features a smooth brown sugar sweetness, with notes of vanilla, toast, clove and black currant that are enhanced by our gentle medium roast.
This coffee is Fair Trade Certified by IMO, Organic Certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and grown in shaded conditions by small farmer cooperatives. In addition, the complete carbon footprint (from crop to cup) for this coffee has been offset with tree planting, which qualifies it as a CarbonFree Certified product by CarbonFund.org.
All of our coffee is roasted to order and shipped fresh daily. We package in air-tight, foil-lined bags with one-way degassing valves to preserve freshness.
